Brian s. coates, dds, P.A.

Dr. Coates received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The Medical College of Virginia in 1998 and completed a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at UNC-Chapel Hill in 1999.

He grew up in Greensboro, and graduated from Page High School and UNC-Chapel Hill. He practiced in Charlotte for three years before moving back to Greensboro with his family in 2002. Since then he has continued the excellent patient care provided by Dr. Donald Royster since the 1970s.

Dr. Coates has served on the Executive Committee for the Guilford County Dental Society for the past three years. He is a member of the American Dental Association, and the North Carolina Dental Society.

Chasity Wimbish
Chas is a licenced hygeinist in the states of Virgina and North Carolina. She began her career as a dental assistant, then went back to school to pursue a dental hygeine degree. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Phychology from Radford University.

Claire Tobert
Originally from Wales (the small country next to England), Claire moved to North Carolina in 1998. Her husband, George, and two-year old son named Dylan now call Summerfield home. She graduated from GTCC in 2004 with a certificate for Administrative Dental Assistant.

Dianna Daniels
Dianna graduated from Erie County Vocational School in 1975 with a Medical/Dental Assistant's degree.

She has lived in New York, Ohio and North Carolina for the last seven years. Her daughter, Sarah, is a junior at UNC-G.

Kim Clinard
Kim has been a certified dental assistant in North Carolina for 21 years, 19 of which have been in this office.

She graduated from Smith High School and trained at Guilford Technical Community College. She lives in Stokesdale with her husband, James, and seven-year old son, Caleb, and stepchildren Ashley and Dustin.

Melissa LaChuisa
Melissa has been a dental hygienist for 9 years. She practiced for sevn years in a periodontal specialist’s practice before coming to Dr. Coates’ general practice. She received her Associates Degree in dental hygiene from GTCC after obtaining a B.A. degree from UNC-CH and dabbling in different careers.

Melissa grew up in Stoneville, NC and now lives in Greensboro, NC with her husband, Bill, and daughter, Bonnie.
